  1. Short:    Xanim for Amiga BETA_2. 3.x+AGA or gfxcard required!

  6. This is the BETA_2 version of my port of Xanim to the Amiga. It requires
  7. 3.x and AGA or a graphics card and 3.x, needs atleast a stack of 10000!!
  8. and reqtools.library V38.
  9.  
  10. It is able to play back:
  11. Quicktime movies, AVI (windows), DL and FLI/FLC
  12. There is support for 16/24bit Qt/AVI
  13. Only support 256 colors and not less at the moment. 
  14. Dithering 16/24bit anims to 8bit might/might not work.
  15. Shell only.
  16. Save IFF pics possible 8bit or 24bit.
  17. (use option +Di8filename or +Di24filename; filename can be any valid AmigaDOS
  18. path+file, there is no SPACE between the option +Di8/+Di24 and the filename!.
  19. Files will be automatically numbered from 0-n. 24bit saving should work for
  20. anyone having 3.x with or without a 256 color mode. 8bit saving works only
  21. when NOT playing directly to a gfxcard, at the moment only of concern to
  22. Merlin owners.)

  28. I you have one and know how to program, please have a look at the supplied
  29. code and tell me what I'm doing wrong.

  32. Support for: RetinaZ2/Z3 and Cybergraphics is in the works.
  33. If you have such a card and know how to program the beasty please have
  34. alook at the supplied example of the Merlin. Try to substitute your code
